Hot Mesh takes its inspiration from the classic café chair designed by Thonet way back in 1859. You may not know it as the Thonet chair (or maybe you do!), but you know the one. Blu Dot wanted to design a durable, stackable, inexpensive chair that could be used inside and out.
Inspired by hand-woven rattan, Blu Dot created a bold graphic pattern in punched metal while a simple, stackable tubular frame maintains the clarity of form. Care and Maintenance
Cleaning: Clean with a slightly damp, soft cloth. To remove dirt and fingerprints, use a quality cleaner formulate for metal furniture. Wipe completely dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners on painted metal as it may affect the surface finish.
